Handling mailto tags?

Hi Folks,

I am trying to figure out how to handle mailto tags in a Zimbra world. When a user clicks on a mailto tag, is there any way to have a new Zimbra mail message created with the proper e-mail adress loaded?

How does a user specify a web-based mail system as the default mail application?

Users would be running Zimbra on 3 platforms: Linux, Mac, Win

Please tell me someone has figured this out already!

Zimbra is developing a small toaster app that will check mail as well as handle the mailto: links. To speed up the progression of the toaster app, search bugzilla for it and vote on it.
