missing e-mail query

one or our users has noticed e-mail in their INBOX before sept06 this year is missing.

Is it possible to check the zimbra logs to see if the user deleted or moved these ?

If they didn't has anyone noticed this as an issues in ZCS 6.10

check /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log (or one of the archived ones for the past week)

no deletes in the mailbox.log is it possible the e-mails were removed by the system

maybe the user connected via pop3 and pop'd it without leaving it on the server or something?

no we don't allow pop3, at the moment its just web access

Probably you have enabled option like delete old mail from inbox after a period of time (I don't remember well that name) - check your domain control and COS.
