Default using internal ip and resoving briecase paths..

I have a pool of internal systems that do not resolve DNS or access the internet that access my zimbra server by it's internal IP.
Email functions properly but briefcase shares give me and arror that states "must authenticate"
the link that is generated via the share is name based... AKA mailserver.asdf.com...

https://mail.mymailserver.com:443/ho...20Schedule.pdf

Is there any way to resolve this without running DNS for these systems?

I tried to add a line to the internal clients host file (win xp)

(c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts....)

running Zimbra

NE 7.0.0._ga_3077
