Default sh: zmcontrol.status.LTSZD: Permission denied

Hi,

I installed Zimbra 7.1.3 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. Everything seems to work. I can login. Create accounts. Can email but I did have an error during installation.. I have no clue what it means and if it will affect my Zimbra installation. And is there a way to fix it or do I need to perform a new installation..

Two possible problems (covered many times in the forums)

Lack of RAM, how much is on this server?

If your server is behind a NAT router you'll need to set-up a Split DNS.

Server is a quadcore with 8 GB Ram. It's on a public ip and dns resolves properly (triple checked it). That's why email does work. It's only the last bit of the installation which gives this error..

**Edit**

It seems openvz can be the issue. I used a vps on openvz to do the testinstall. Will perform a new install on KVM.

Go to the Split DNS article and post the output of all the commands in the 'Verify....' section of that article. I'm also assuming that you have AppArmor disabled on that server?

Yes, it certainly is and it's also not a supported platform.

I followed all the steps but as I just mentioned probably openvz is the issue. Will perform a new install on a KVM vps..

Installed in KVM vps and I can confirm the installation went without problems.
