Default Users cannot change password after upgrade to 7.1.3

Hi,

Users cannot change password.

This error shows when trying to change one.
A network service error has occurred.

Changing the password in the admin panel shows an error too:
Message: system failure: change password listener sambapassword for account xxxxxxxxxx@mydomain.com not found Error code: service.FAILURE Method: [unknown] Details:soap:Receiver

I searched the internet but threads are old and may not be applicable.

Someone please help me.

Running on zimbra 7.1.3, just upgraded from 5.0.7

Thanks

How did you determine that the threads were "...."old and may not be applicable" and which of the available solutions did you try?

Hi Phoenix,

Thanks for the quick reply.

I found threads dated 2009. One thread fix someone else's zimbra so I tried. It was something like:

zmprov md mydomain.com zimbraChangePasswordURL "https://mail.mydomain.com/h/changepass"

But this one didn't work for me. Before executing it I check but the variable and it was empty or returned nothing:
zmprov gd mydomain.com | grep ChangePass

Thanks

Installing the zimbraSambaPassword Extension fixes this.
