Default User is getting error on to many contacts

I have a user that has a Blackberry and using Notifysync to sync his email, contacts and calendar. He ran an update and then his contacts started duplicated over and over until he went over 10,000 contacts. He shut the phone off and that stopped the duplicating and then he went into the webclient to delete the duplicates.

He did that but now when he tries to add another contact he gets a message that he has exceeded the maximum number of contacts allowed. He only has about 360 contacts and the limit is set to 10,000. Is there something I get reset to fix this?

In case anyone else has this problem, the user hadn't emptied his trash which still had the deleted contacts in it. Once it was emptied, he was able to add another contact.
