Default How to change the sender's id

hi all,

I have configured zimbra-4 OS on CentOS 4.4. Zimbra using external LDAP server for authentication. The problem is that each of my LDAP users 'cn' is different than their email addresses. So there appears a mismatch database search. So i configured in a way that each of my SAMBA users added as zimbra users in zimbra, and each of them added alias as their original email id. For example my SAMBA-LDAP user "test" having email id "test.team@domain.com" is added in a way that user "test" having one alias as "test.team@domain.com". Its working fine .
The problem is that the user "test" sending a mail to anyone, it showing from as "test@domain.com" instead of "test.team@domain.com". Is there any possibilities to show the sender address as alias. Help me in this case pls..

thanks

If you just want to change the FROM address then you need this:

Code:
zmprov ma me@machine.localnet.net zimbraMailCanonicalAddress fred smith@gmail.com
If you want the user to have control over their FROM address then a feature called 'mail identities' will allow them to change it - that will be available in an upcoming release.
