Default Resources are not visible for anyone

Hi all,

We are a new installation of Zimbra running

Release 7.1.1_GA_3196.UBUNTU10_64 UBUNTU10_64 NETWORK edition.

We've migrated all our users over from Lotus Notes. We are now in process of creating conference rooms (resources) for the users.

I've created the conference rooms but they are not visible to any user on the system. I can book the room if I include the email as an invitee to the meeting but there isn't any rooms visible for users to pick from when trying to book a meeting.

I've looked through the forums, read some blogs and combed the WHOLE Internet looking for a reason why this is happening. I'm not finding anything.

Before opening a case with Zimbra support, I was hoping to pick the brains of the smart people on why this is happening.

If there is any additional information I can provide, I'm more than happy to provide it. Just ask away!

Thanks in advance
Dennis

Default Follow-up

Update

I waited a day and the resource now shows up. I'd like to add the additional resources and have them show today. Any idea what runs in during the night to make the resource visible? I'd like to kick it off manually so I can get my other 30 conference rooms to show.

Thanks
Dennis

Did you find any solution to this problem ?

I have got an Open Source Zimbra 7.1.3 and errors are the same.
I create a new resource in web admin, then I can't find it in zimbra's ajax interface....

Count yourself lucky... I have run into the problem of none of my resources show up. Even after waiting days, nothing ever becomes available. It is not that big of a need, so I have put it off for now to focus on other things, but it would be great if they did work.

How are you looking for the resource ?

For Locations - I go into the Create Appointment window - click on the word Location - then click Search without entering anything for Conference room. The full list is displayed.

For Projectors, etc. Click "Show Resources" out at the end of the locations window. Then repeat the above. Click the word Resources - then click Search without entering anything.

I hope this helps.
