Default denyhosts email reports

I've run into problems with email reports from denyhosts. I've created a zimbra account for the system to use for sending reports, but the account that's set to receive the reports never receives them. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I don't use so I can't give much help but if it sends an email to your server I suppose the obvious question is, how does it do that? You need to look in the log files to see if any attempt was made to deliver a message and any errors it may have given. Does denyhosts itself give any errors about sending an email? Why do you have port 22 open to the internet?
