I think you need to be a bit more temperate in your comments and read my earlier replies again, I'm not in the habit of spamming any forums.

For clarification I said that the earlier mentioned bugs were fixed in version 7.x, that is correct - both of those bugs were marked as fixed in that release. The additional comment I made was about the location of the patch for 6.0.14 and asked whether it had been applied.

I guess you've also applied the required patch to your 7.1.3 version? If you have and you still have the problem then I suggest you raise a support case.

Where do you see me '....spamming wrong information' in those replies?

Do you still need this patch for all versions?
I should search this forum but I thought you didn't need this with the new releases?

Default Upgrade or NOT?

Currently running 7.0.0_GA_3077.RHEL5_64 as a VM on ESXI with about 75 users. I have also experienced Java slowdowns & lockups previously with this version. I was hoping that an upgrade to 7.1.3 would fix everything. Should I wait for more patches or upgrade??

I tried 7.1.2 and 7.1.3 with patch.
The patch "does not" solve the the cpu problem.

After some digging I found out that it is related to some performance counters;
here comes the workaround...(found on the net and tested OK)

On the cron page of the zimbra user there is a job, which runs every two minutes, and somehow keeps bugging the cpu.
/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmstatuslog

Change it somewhat longer ( once a day or smt)

change zmmtaconfig_interval to a longer period ( two hours for example).

The issue is really fixed now, those annoying java processes can not be stopped on that specific short interval, so after some hours there are 20 java processes consuming all the cpu power.

check my sar report, after the change its fixed like a miracle.
