Outlook Connector - Sync Calendar & Contacts only?

I have successfully synchronized a Palm Z22 with Zimbra by using a combination of Zimbra + Outlook 2003 + Outlook Connector + Palm Desktop. However it synchronizes the calendar, contacts and email with Outlook. I'd rather not have Outlook at all, but if I can just get it to not synchronize email to Outlook, I could be happy. We only want to sync contacts and calendar. Is there any way to have email left alone?
