Recipient Delimiter Settings Being Ignored

In 7.1.0 the use of recipient_delimiter is not being applied correctly to inbound messages. While the messages are still delivered to the recipient they're not being sent to the appropriate folder. The target folders exist under the recipients mailbox and are accessible.

I've tried the following on the system:

- zmprov mcf zimbraMtaRecipientDelimiter +
- Uncommented the appropriate line in the amavisd config ($recipient_delimiter = '+'
- Confirmed that the Postfix main.cf has the proper config line in place.

Zimbra has also been restarted via zmcontrol after the settings had been applied. Has anyone encountered this before and/or found a work around?
