Question Pause Zimbra MySQL

Hi,

Is there a way I can access the zimbra mysql to pause it? I need to pause and flush it so that I can perform a graceful snapshot of it.

Thanks,
Leo

You can access the MySQL database by logging in as the zimbra user and running "mysql", but keep in mind there are several databases with groups of users in each, and I'm not sure how you are going to "pause" it, since the Zimbra mailbox server will still attempt to write to the databases.

Not a good idea on a live system.
