Zimbra says MX not resolving... But it is.

Okay, I've successfully installed Zimbra. I have configured my DNS to what I think is correct. Here is the output of DIG:

Does anything look wrong? I don't understand but when logging into Zimbra I get the MTA error. When installing it I got an error saying the MX record should resolve. But if I type it into the address bar it resolves.

Can anyone please help me with this?

Is it the installer which is giving you the error?

Can you copy and paste the error exactly as you see it?

Every install I've done always tries to use the FQDN instead of just the domain suffix during the install. So when it prompts you with the MX error during install you must change the domain from the FQDN to the domain suffix. It should resolve at this point.

Thanks for the information... However, the install is now complete. Where would I go within the Admin Panel to change that?

You may need to use the zmsetservername utility. Not sure how this would affect the domain setup as the default. I would probably setup a test server to see if the above worked and any residual effects if any.

Nothing is working on it right now so if it doesn't work I'll just reinstall everything. I would just like to try and not do that if possible as it is quite time consuming.

However would i have to do to use the amsetservername utility?

Do a search in the wiki. It will probably be the first return. Follow it step by step.

I just found the wiki for that utility but it is saying that a password is required. I entered in my login password for the admin panel and that didn't work. Do you know what I would need?

I ran it as root and it said that it needed to be run as the zimbra user.

Then run the command.

Have never had it ask for password.

That's what I'm typing in. After typing # su - zimbra it is asking for a password.
