Exclamation I need your help to restore the back up

Suddenly my ZCS stopped working few days ago and start giving me multiple error in ldap and I tried all solutions in the forum with no luck !
Now I have a clean installation (ZCS ver. 6.0.7) and it's working fine but I need to restore back all users and mailboxes.
I need your help in restoring accounts from backup (full copy from old corrupted version) and please note that as soon as copy back all files Zimbra stop working.

Thanks in advance.

Why don't you try it in different way. Restore full backup, and let zimbra stop working. Then, install zimbra again on the same server with upgrade option, this way if only zimbra files were corrupted they may get corrected with all accounts working. Only thing is that if user data was corrupted, it can't be repaired this way. Well, it costs nothing to try, and nothing to lose if failed.

Wild Guess: Any chance your certs and/or CA have expired?

It's hard for us to help you diagnose this without log files or you describing precisely what was happening when Zimbra stopped working.

Hope that gets you started,
Mark

Hmmm, thanks LMStone for your update.
with log file I should look on it exactly.
http_error.log doesn't say much!

Log files comprise:
  • /var/log/zimbra.log
  • /opt/zimbra/log/*

Look at all the *.out logs as well, since those tell you the results of services (trying to) start up.

Hope that helps,
Mark
