Meeting request: organizer email address

When a meeting request is sent, the email address of the organizer is next to his name in this request.

The problem is that this isn't always the main account address, but most of the time one of the aliases of this account. This isn't very nice.

Is there a way you can be set the main email address as the email address of the organizer?

As for your question, at various times, aliases have caused problems with invitations, although my experience has mainly involved CalDAV. See
Bug 31489 – CalDAV: Unable to send invitation with iCal when the account was setup using an alias.
Bug 40506 – existence of alias causes CalDAV notifications to appear as sent "on behalf of" main address

Note that both bugs are fixed as of ZCS 7.1.1. Nevertheless, my current practice is generally not to use aliases. Instead I create single-user distribution lists.
