Default Sync

Hi, this is my first post

I set the split domain between Zimbra and Exchange with Zimbra as the main server. Mail regularly goes to the exchange and back (I relay through Zimbra for outside mail) but what interests me is how to leave a copy of the mail in Zimbra inbox. I set zimbraMailTransport to smtp:example.com:25 instead of lmtp.
Another issue is how to synchronize the inbox and sent items in Exchange with Zimbra. I use web mail from Zimbra and I do not want to access Exchange from outside.
Users from exchange should have everything within Zimbra and if they use web mail changes need to reflect in the Exchange.

I hope you can help

I think you misunderstand what a split domain is used for. Is is meant to be used when you have a situation where you move a migrated user to the Zimbra server and remove it from the Exchange server, they are not supposed to exist on both server at the same time.

I use exchange for a few users, the rest is on the Zimbra. Zimbra is an authoritative server for domain and i have same user on both but lmtp is replaced with smtp for users that i have on exchange. And that work pretty well. I never thought that is temp solution.
