Default quota

hi all,

as per document, it is being mentioned that below should be set to true for users to continue receiving email but will not be able to send when quota has been reached.

zimbraMailAllowReceiveButNotSendWhenOverQuota

Now my problem is, where should I change this attribute to reflect globally.

Thanks in advance.

ok, guys, it seems another related problem or issue been encountered... I able to achieve the not able to send when i reached the quota but still able to received, but that happened when using the zimbra web client, when I tried KMAIL, the user am testing is able to send, noting that this user is already reached the quota... at the same time, it wont be able to send using the zimbra web.. is this a limitation? am using imap at Kmail.

hope someone can advice.

hi all, any one there has an idea how to solve my last post.. when using outlook and connecting via IMAP or POP3, zimbraMailAllowReceiveButNotSendWhenOverQuota TRUE does not have effect on any user that reached the quota, they still able to send, in case there are other parameters for this to set, kindly advice.

thanks

hi, another question, I have lots of questions, is there a reference for the quota set at admin console on the database. If quota of 500M is set for a certain user, where can I find that on its database, should it be at mysql or ldap?

hope someone can advice.

thanks

hi, just hoping someone would care to answer, quota related...

I have done this..

./zmprov mc default zimbraMailAllowReceiveButNotSendWhenOverQuota TRUE

on all of the COS created I but I noticed, there are lots of emails being not delivered because a certain user has reached its quota, though as per checking of the user COS, the above has been applied.

Hope someone can answer.

regards
