Default Problem sending mail to my domain

Hello

I have test mail server Zimbra 7.0 on Linux Suse 11

when I telnet.

- telnet 192.168.1.1 110 - OK Zimbra POP3 server ready
- telnet 192.168.1.1 25 - 220 192.168.1.1 ESMTP Postfix ??

Is this status OK for port 25 ????

-------------------------------------------------------------
I can send messages to gmail, hotmail, ...
I can NOT send messagest to mail domain @example.si ??
Log say:
- Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=example.si type=A: Host not found

What I have to fix in zimbra for this Error

Thank
Kristajan

You don't have to fix anything in Zimbra for this, it's a DNS problem - you don't have a valid DNS record. Search the wiki and/or forums for 'split dns', fix your A & MX records and (possibly) your hosts file and maybe your resolv.conf.

BTW, this isn't a Zimbra Desktop question (which is the forum you posted in) so I'll move it to the correct forum.

These are COmmunity supported forums and people will answer you questions when they have the time.

Nobody can telnet to your server because you've posted the LAN IP, it's not accessible from the internet.

Yes, it's a problem because it's incorrect. Go to the Split DNS article in the wiki (or search the forums) for details on what's necessry for your DNS records, hosts file and resolv.conf - this issue has been discussed and solved many time plus there's a full write-up in the wiki for you to follow.

Problem, problem, ...

My provider outside is risponsible for my dns.

IF some mail comes to IP 84...... or mail..... the defender port forward to 192.168..... -> zimbra server

My problem

Now I can send my mail only to outset (gmail, hotmail, ..)

When I disable in MTA - DNS lookups - then I can send my email only to my domain (when I won't to send to gmail - log said: ... status sent (250 2.0.0. OK id=05633 from MTA (127.0.0.1 : 10025) : 250 2.0.0 OK

and then mail3 (5633): extra modules loaded: opt/zimbra/zimbramom/ .....

Where is the problem, way can not I send mail to outseid my domain (to gmail)

Thanks
