Exclamation Zimbra Briefcase i18n filenames error

Hi there,

Just realized that there is an issue with saving / uploading files to briefcase.
If uploaded filename contains some i18n letters (i.e. ą, ć, ń, ę, ł, ó, ż, ź), the file cannot be downloaded, opened etc..
Zimbra displays error 404, no such element.
If I rename filename to basic letters (ie. ą -> a), everything is OK.

Posted new thread, because I couldn't find any related case on forum.

Adam

There seems to be a number of bugs related to the Zimbra briefcase.

If I were you I'd wait a couple of days to see if you get any response here and then submit a bug report.

Default Confirm - problem solved

Just want to confirm that clearing "Public service hostname" solves this issue.

Default Zimbra Briefcase i18n filenames error

Coming back with this issue. Yes, when you clear the public service host name docs in briefcase will be available, but this entry (public service host name) is required for option to view user mailbox in latest version of Zimbra OS 7.1.4.

Any suggestions?

Regards,

Adam

You haven't actually given any information about the exact problem you're seeing nor any error messages from the log files. You need an entry in public service hostname so what have you entered in that field?
