Default After Server Crashs - Almost all passwords reset w/ preferences wiped

Hello,

The server crashed this morning and upon coming back up, most of the users' passwords didn't work. We had to reset them through zimbra admin to get them working. Furthermore, all preferences (filters, signatures, etc.) were wiped for the users for whom we had to reset passwords.

Can you let me know what happened here? Are all those settings stored in the mysql database? So if I restore the mysql databases, that'll be good?
