Default Zimbra is a SPAMMER

hi guys,

Got a serious problem right now. My Zimbra mail server is SPAMMING into the internet and as per logs this user name alumni@xxx.xxx.xx is sending SPAM messages.

Is there a way in Zimbra to stop this SPAMBot?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Have you disabled this account and changed the password? Do you enforce a strong password policy (you should) in Zimbra? Search the forums for some further information about a "compromised account".

hi phoenix,

Already disabled the account. But I'll try to changed the password later to a strong password.

Thanks for your quick reply. I'll check advise for the compromised account.

again thank you.
