| | Yes, currently shared calendars and contact lists are fully implemented. I believe shared email folders are planned.

| | Shared email folders are planned for next version I think, they're not currently implemented. There is alpha/beta functionality in the Outlook Connector, in the Network Edition. |

| | Shared contacts vs public folders I am interested in have a central repository of contacts, not emails or calendars, only contacts, i know i can share my contacts but i would like to a public contacts folder would be in all the zimbra users, like public folders in exchange owa. It is possible with the actual zimbra version or is it a future planned feature? Thanks. |

| | zimbra is not exchange, it works differently. you can share contacts and with fine-grained ACLs you can share it to all your users or just a few. As a central repository you have the GAL. Are you using the Outlook Connector? Does that not provide what you want? |

| | | You can (kind of) have a common shared contact folder. I added a user "common". Then, I shared "common's" address book as viewable to all users. I then shared "common's" address book as Manager to a select group of users (supervisors).
Now, ALL users can see the "common" address book. All supervisors can add, edit, delete "common" address book entries.
When you add a new user, you do have to share the address book with the new user.
This imay not be an ideal solution, but it does work
