Default Failed upgrade, what should I do?

Hey guys, I had a weird upgrade problem.

I am running OS X Server 10.4.8 and upon changing my servers IP address things went all funky. What I decided to do (hoping it would fix my issues) was to upgrade to 4.0.3 from 4.0.2.

I went through the usual upgrade procedure and upon doing the zmsetup.pl command, it failed.

Now here's where things get interesting. Upon trying to zmcontrol stop and start things wouldn't come back up however, a reboot and a zmcontrol start worked perfectly. I am up and running again.

What I am wondering, is:

zmsetup.pl still hasn't finished successfully after doing the 4.0.3 upgrade. Will this affect anything, or should I make sure to get it ran for it do anything to my system for 4.0.3?

Thanks!
