Default More then one SMTPS port

Hello,

I would ask you, how can I setup more the one smtps port.

Default port is: 465

I need that Zimbra will listen on 465 and 20025 simultaneously.

How can i setup this?

Thank you.

You could achieve that with your local firewall rules - forward port 20025 to 465.

Cheers,

Yes, I know this workaround, but I think that LISTENING zimbra on 20025 will be better solution... If zimbra can't do that, I have to use port forwarding...

The correct Submission port is actually 587 and Zimbra already listens on hat port.

That means you won't be able to receive email from other mail server (unless I've missed something obvious), what are you trying to achieve?

Hello. Port 465 is standard port where Zimbra already listens - it should be smtp ssl, port 587 is smtp tls, I think.

But it is not important which port.

In global, I would like to ask you, if I can use more ten one port for one service. Eg. standard SMTP service is on port 25. If I would like to use port 25 and port 26 for the same service, is possible to start postfix via zimbra configuration with these two ports?

My question was why are you trying to do this - what do you hope to achieve?

This is usually used for active SMTP server on non standard port because of filtering 25 in many networks especially like hotels etc. Our employees travel and they need SMTP on non-standard ports. Thats why I need more then one port for one service.

I can do it with iptables, as first wrote, but I would like to know if zimbra can do it ...

If your users need to send email through the Zimbra server they should use the correct Submission port which is port 587 - port 25 is for SMTP communications between MTAs not email submission from email clients.

I think it would be best to do it with iptables like you said. That is safe, instead of changing posfix configuration.

Yes, I'll do it with iptables. Phoenix, it is not about one port or other port. It is about if is possible add next port for one service. I think that it couldn't be setted up and I use workaround - iptables.
