mail xxx loops back to myself

hi guys,

Don't have any idea why does mail loops back err occur when a input a relaying mail server to the RELAY MTA for external delivery option. By the way, my zimbra mail server is zimbra.example.com and my relaying mail server is relay.example.com.

How do I input a relaying server on my zimbra configuration?

Hope you can help me with this problem.

That would be the cause of the problem (see the Split Domain article).
