Default upgrade zimbra 6.0.6

Hi.

I use zimbra network edition version 6.0.6

I want to upgrade next week to version 7.1.1, do i have to upgrade to other version prior to this or i can upgrade directly to version 7.
Also the backup is made in /opt/zimbra/backup, i will copy this for safety in another place , is there anything else i need to backup except this ? All the settings will remain the same , users/password etc... ?

Thank you for your help

you should be able to go to 7.1.1 directly, but read the release notes because it has exact upgrade instructions including any post upgrade steps you may need to take. as long as you have a full backup you should be fine
