Need help to prepare a implementation plane

Dear Zimbra Expats,

Need your expertise opinion to prepare my implementation plane. I have ruing mail server with 2000+ users running in sendmail. Now we want to migrate our mail service by using Zimbra Open Source edition.

My implementation plane is configure zimbra server in multiple server installation.

I want to use RedHat 6 as my implementation platform. And want to use RedHat Directory server on the place of Zimbra LDAP. My some others service will also use this LDAP server for user authentication.

I will use another server for MTA and User Mail box which will be connected with SAN storage to provide large mail box size for my users.


If any of you have implemented zimbra Opensource edition as I have explained please help me to finalize my plane. Anyone can share your idea about this type of implementation plane.

You can't do that. ZCS is supplied as a complete package and you must use all of the components that are supplied, you can't replace components with other products. You can, however, use another LDAP server for authentication.
