Default zmlogswatchctl is not running

Hello all,
I have a server which installed zcs_4.0.2 in FC4. One day, I noticed that the logger service was not running. After, I searched the fourm, and the solution is to start the zmlogswatchctl. However, the topic said that is a bugs, it will fix in 3.2. Why this bug come to 4.0.2 again?

Best Regards
Victor

Did you look at the bugzilla report? It's not fixed until the next major release, that's 4.1.0.

Hi,

I'm also experiencing the same issue. The server is running this version:

Release 4.5.6_GA_1023.RHEL4_64_20070627170359 RHEL4_64 NETWORK edition

The zmlogswatchctl seems to stop on its own. How do I prevent this from happening?

Also, Is it possible for me to receive email notification when a process stops?

Thank you,

David

Code:
[zimbra@mail ~]$ zmcontrol status

Default We have this problem also

Not sure if we should be adding to an issue raised last year or if we should be creating a new one but......

Our server is running zcs-NETWORK-4.5.5_GA_838.RHEL4 and this morning I noticed zmlogswatchctl was not running.
A quick start got it running but it had stopped 2 days ago!

regards,
John
