Default Migrating to Exchange ?

I might be leaving the job i am at (might be replaced) and i would more or less be asked to move the email server over to Exchange.

Is this possible ?

i just need to know if it is possible.

Reason being my replacement would not be a Linux user nor administrator. So i would have to move all our Opensource servers and services to a Microsoft Platform.

Again as i said this is possibility that i would be replaced.

thanks again for all the help and advice.

Not sure what you mean to say.As per my understanding you want to convey something about replacing your current mail server with exchange.

Migrating e-mail may not be that hard, using IMAP (but one mailbox at a time).

Calendar, contacts, tasks... I doubt it. Maybe if you use the Pro version with the outlook connector (export the whole account to a pst and import it back to the Exchange mailbox).

I'm in a similar position.
We will be required to migrate all users from zimbra NE to MS Exchange.

At this time I'm going through the process of setting up OL-Connector for all users (only 30). We will have them save there info into Outlook from zimbra, then upload it to the exchange server.

Not what I hoped for as the exchange aadmin only allows his users < 1/2 the space we allow on our zimbra users. MS wins again <string of curse words>

only if you "assume" that Zimbra to Exchange Migration tool is Zimbra's responsibility...
Short answer is: NO

Zimrba made Exchange to Zimbra Migration tool as its "Zimbra's responsibility.." if someone wants to move to Zimbra.

If you want to move to Exchange please divert your "curse" attention to Microsoft who suppose to make the tool..i bet they will listen to you..like they do(not) to all their existing customers.

Raj the words were not for zimbra... the words are for the mere idea of going back to the MS route..

And i was just asking if anyone knew of one.
