Default Prevent user from creating new contacts.

Hello Guys,

How can I configure zimbra to prevent user from creating new contacts. They can use the contact list which is shared by admin or GAL.

Thanks.

Stalker,

There is no command or feature to disallow a user the right to not create a contact.

A created contact will default to the users Contact List.

Best Regards,

Alright. So, anyother alternate?

I've found I can disable address book feature in the admin panel for that user. But it is also creating problem when we compose a new email and add contact into it.

Stalker,

It would be best to understand your situation. If you can, provide some detail in why you would like to disable this feature and what the user is doing to warrant such a request.

Best Regards,

Well, I am trying to prevent user from sending email to any other address than the shared address book via admin to him/her.
