Default 6.13 to 7.1 on the same machine

hi, i'm working on an upgrade to 7.1 from 6.13. i took a copy of the 6.13 ~zimbra directory and applied the 7.1 upgrade.

I tar'd/gzipped the original 6.13 ~zimbra, can i switch back and forth between these 2 ~zimbra dirs and run both 6.13 and 7.1 on the same machine without any issues? are all the zimbra dependencies in the ~zimbra dirs?

No, that's not a good idea.

OK - can you tell me why? Are there Zimbra items installed that live outside of the ~zimbra dir?

It does seem to work, hence my question
