Cancelling a meeting in a Series does not free resource

The admin(meeting creator) of the meeting series cancels one meeting in the series. The resource(location) is not returned to the free state.

If I go to the resource's account I see the meeting series and the cancelled meeting still exists . I cannot delete the instance there either and the resource is marked as busy for all other users.

In the admin's(meeting creator) account the one meeting in the series is cancelled and removed from their calendar.

Has anyone seen this behavior on their installation and is there a fix?

I was hoping to get some feedback, and perhaps it was a config issue.

I'll pursue the bug route.
