    Default Error on restore [urgent]

    Hi,

i am currently moving my Zimbra installation to a new server (2 domains, 6 accounts).

    Source System
    Zimbra Version: Network Edition 4.0.3
    CPU: Pentium 3, 600 Mhz
    RAM: 384 MB SD-RAM

    Destination System
    Zimbra Version: Network Edition 4.0.3
CPU: AMD Opteron 146, 2 Ghz
    RAM: 1024 MB

    What I did until now:
    1. I installed Zimbra on the new server
    2. I disconnected the old server from the internet so that new incoming mails are queued on the secondary MX server
    3. I made a full backup of the old server using zmbackup CLI command
    4. I compressed the backup (tgz file) and uploaded it to the destination server
    5. I extracted the backup
    6. I created the domains on the new server
    7. I imported the mailboxes using zmrestore. To have full control I restored every mailbox seperatly.

    Now the problem:
At one mailbox (the biggest, most important one) there always is an error.

    Code:
    [zimbra@zimbra ~]$ zmrestore -s zimbra.it-swat.net -a michael@glatter-goetz.de -t /opt/zimbra/backup/zcsBackup2/
Error occurred: system failure: String index out of range: -20
When doing it in the Web Admin Backend I get more information:
    Code:
Message: system failure: String index out of range: -20

What can this be? How can I import the mailbox? HELP! Since I can't get any mails at the moment this is quite urgent.

    Default

    Additional information:

The mailbox size displayed in the Admin Console is exactly the same. So it seems all (or nearly all) data is restored.

Since your a NE customer, have you sent an e-mail to support <at> zimbra.com?

Also, is your former server still operational/online?

    Default Duplicate mailbox

Going through support will make your life easier -- it sounds like we may need to look at your backups.

Additional information 2 says that there's already a mailbox with that ID on the new server. Does bouncing zimbra fix that issue?

Yes, I can start the old server with all data if needed.

    I logged a support case.
