Default Moving Volumes

Our SDA is running out of storage soon and beside reducing the period for items to move from primary volume to secondary volume in the HSM policy, can we simply move our primary volume to a new partition instead?

Is this easily done just by editing our primary volume in the Admin Console to the new partition Volume Root Path and Zimbra will automatically move all the files and folders from /opt/zimbra/store to the new partition?

btw, what is the purpose of adding another primary volume? How does this work?
