Default Outlook IMAP server UID error

Hi,

After I upgraded my ZCS from 6.x version to 7.x few months ago, I faced the exact the same problem on not many, but few Outlook clients. Beside that, ZCS 7.x works fine, no problems.
Here is is from my Outlook 2010:

Code:
Your server reported a UID that does not comply with the IMAP
standard. This typically indicates a server bug. Your program may
not function properly after this.

DETAILS:
MsgSeqNum 35, New UID 40353. Prev UID: 40353, Next UID: 40355.
	Protocol:	IMAP
	Server:	zimbra.server.com
	Port:	143
	Error Code:	0x800CCCDC
As one of the problematic Outlooks is also my own machine, I tried all these to solve the problem:
  • deleted IMAP account in Outlook, but no help
  • removed also IMAP.PST store on computer, and recreated new one, but no help
  • remove whole Office 2010, deleted all remaining folders, recreated Outlook profile, account....THIS HELPED
...but only for 1 month. Now again I've got this error.
  • Now I changed IMAP port from SSL 993 to TLS 143, but still no help.

Anybody having such a problems?
I mean - might it be ZCS server related?

---- EDITED WITH QUICK INFO ----
For all of you, who are having the same problems, here I edited the initial post with key information from the whole thread.

FIRST, Bug has been reported for this issue: https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=62160
Please vote, if you have the same problem!

SECOND, maybe what you want, possible temporary workaround, which might help in most cases:
AFAIK, problem is in most cases with one of the mail items in "Trash" or "Drafts". So it might help if you delete those mails in both, webmail and Outlook.

Still noone with the same problem?
After completely reinstalling OFFICE 2010 again, Outlook still reports few times per day the same 2 errors. UID numbers are always the same as below:

Code:
MsgSeqNum 34, New UID 40353. Prev UID: 39557, Next UID: 40353.
	Protocol:	IMAP
	Server:	zimbra.server.com
	Port:	143
	Error Code:	0x800CCCDC

AND this one:

MsgSeqNum 35, New UID 40353. Prev UID: 40353, Next UID: 40355.
	Protocol:	IMAP
	Server:	zimbra.server.com
	Port:	143
	Error Code:	0x800CCCDC
Any idea how to get rid of this?
As I contacted Microsoft, they said this is SERVER SIDE error, not client.

Maybe should I recreate my user account on Zimbra?
Or is some INDEXING mechanism at work on Zimbra server, which might have failed?

Wird is that I have the same Outlook on 2 other computers with this account, and no problems there.

I guess you might be the only one.

Are these accounts using shared folders? Is it likely that these accounts are opened on multiple machines at the same time? Do you, by any chance, have anti-virus software on these machines? If you then stop it from interfering with Outlook and see if that helps. Has Office been updated with all the relevant update and SPs?

Hi Phoenix,
seems really I am the only or at least the rare one with this problem.

Yes, there is one thing they all had in common: on this machines all users were testing Symantec Endpoint Security antivirus, and then problems begun. All users report the same: only the machine, which was used for testing the antivirus, is compromised, and with all is the same - even reinstalling Office 2010 does not help.
And none of them is having issues on 2nd or 3rd machine with the same account.

Symantec antivirus was removed long ago, few days after it was installed, since it produced more problems than goods, but seems something got broken beyond repair.

I was blaming Zimbra server, since I thought removing and deleting all Outlook related files should wipe client side to be error free, but it might be it is not so simple.

We have exactly the same problem, it occurs on Outlook 2003 and 2007. Seems to happen mostly when the Zimbra web interface and Outlook IMAP have been used independently... for e.g. if Outlook is used exclusively then this problem doesn't occur, but if a user works on Zimbra for some time then Outlook starts reporting the error...

Any help on this would be much appreciated!

We need to pinpoint the cause of this problem, I mean, how to reproduce it so the developers can start working on it. On my side, I haven't found any regularities on how to reproduce the problem....excpet that I cannot get rid of it when it starts.

The easiest way to re-produce this error is to use the Zimbra web interface for a few days without every accessing via IMAP on Outlook, then after 3-4 days open Outlook again and you will get the error very frequently...

Interesting...
I do not know for other users on our zCS, but with me problems started on my work PC, when I tested Symantec Endpoint Security...which I uninstalled the same day, since it converted my quad-Core XEON machine into Pentium3 machine.
But from that moment on, my Outlook on this machine started to hicup with above mentioned problem, while outlooks on my home machine and another office machine work flawlessly.
Weird.

Any idea how to reproduce the issue? How or when it started?
As of now it seems that only 7.x ZCS is affected.
