Default Distribution lists not visible in GAL

Sorry guys, I do know that this question is discussed in many and many threads, but I couldn't find any suggestion working for me.

I'm running two installations of Zimbra Open Edition, the first 6.0.10 and the second 7.1.0, both under CentOS 5.5. In both installations, I defined some distribution lists, but when users compose new emails, they can't see the distribution lists in GAL in any way, neither searching explicitly, nor trying autocompletation.
Flag "Hide in GAL" in definition of the distribution lists is UNCHECKED and command "zmprov gdl list@domain" shows zimbraHideInGal: FALSE (uppercase).
Any idea?

Thanks in advance.

I'm running 7.1.0 on my home server, I went and created a D.L.

Logged into my normal user account and the D.L. showed up. I'm testing in the web portal, not the Zimbra Desktop.

I'm using web mail too. I can't understand il the retrieveing of D.L. in GAL is submitted to LDAP filter. Please, can you show me your filter?

My domain is configured with GAL mode "external", so I had to establish a LDAP filter:
(&(sAMAccountName=*)(objectClass=user)(givenName=* ))

I don't know if this filter affects the including of D.L. in GAL.
