I have run into a few issues after a software update on my zimbra server and wish to do a reinstall of zimbra.

Is there a simple way to to do a reinstall of the same version without losing the data?

This is covered in the product Release Notes and many threads in the forums - you run './install.sh' (after taking a suitable backup).

Why do you think that a re-install is going to fix your 'issues'?

Yes but why do you think this will solve your 'issues'? Updating your operating system software shouldn't cause any problems for Zimbra - what exactly did you update?

You should update your forum profile with the output of the following command (do not post the output in this thread):

zmcontrol -v

I am running rhel6 version... Last week they updated to 6.1. Before the update everything was running perfectly and since that update I have had some ongoing issues with zimbra.

From webmail the users are not able to send out mail and the antivirus program seems to lock up once or twice a week.

I guess I assumed that maybe during the update one of the packages made updates to some of the zimbra settings.
