Default 7.1 strange behavior?

hi, i found this reply in the announce thread of version 7.1 :

"As of May 23, the Product Management Portal is outdated and shows "Future" as release-date of 7.1.0 and now other dates on the 7.1.x road-map.

How is the schedule for 7.1.1 and following versions?

We realize some strange behavior in 7.1.0 and wait for the bugfixes ..."

Anyone have notice a strange behavior in 7.1.0? i want to upgrade from 7.0 to 7.1....

That was not an announcement, it's a comment from a user without any information on what the 'problem' is (or was).

No, I haven't but I guess it depends what you mean by 'strange behaviour'.

The prudent, and sensible, thing to do would be a test upgrade in a 'lab' environment not a production server and make sure it performs to your requirements.

Bill thanks for your reply, my enviroment is a test so i will backup the entire zimbra directory and then i will run the upgrade.

I guess if something wrong happens i can restore the old directory and run my old version with no problems right?

Yes you can certainly do a disaster recovery if there's any problems with the upgrade but I wouldn't expect any.
