Hello again,

After searching a little bit, I found that this only happens in GAL Contacts and show until letter O, not C.

Cant see any reason for that. but my users are making me crazy about this problem.

Is there anything that can I do?

Appreciate any help!
Best regards.

Hello again

I double check in another client that I updated to Zimbra 7 and same problem.
Shows only 50 contacts in GAL. But, in the HTML interface I can see all.

In ajax it doesnt allow me to click on "Next" button.

Thanks on any help!!
Best regards.

Default Address Book Problems - Contacts Not Showing

I am having problems with the address book.

Ways to Replicate
- Login in Webmail
- Use the Default Profile
- Compose a message by clicking [New]
- Click on To: or CC:
- Select "Contacts" next to "Show Names From"
- None of the contacts come up

This problem does not exist on Zimbra 6. There are a lot of weird contacts + address with duo bytes, Japanese, Chinese characters. Don't know whether these duo-byte names are the cause of the new bug.

However the Ajax with the Autocomplete whilst composing works and that can find addresses for me.

Zimbra Open Source Version
Release 7.1.0_GA_3140.RHEL5_64_20110329150833 CentOS5_64 FOSS edition.

Was there ever a solution to this? I'm seeing an identical issue with my users.

Upgraded from 5.0.16 to 7.1.4 over the weekend, most everything seemed to go well. Now when composing and email, selecting the TO button pulls up the Address book with nothing listed, you have to specify what to search for before it will population. This behavior is not desirable, but I don't see a readily available option to go back to the previous behavior.

bump. This is happening for us also (after "upgrading" to 7.1.3), browsing shared contacts in the web UI returns results ONLY when you click the "All" button. the A-Z buttons do not work at all. We are having to search by name to find contacts. They are there, just not showing correctly in the address book.

Users are driving me nuts about this!!

Yeah, we ran into this as well (with 7.1.4) - it's a known bug, believe it is fixed in trunk but not in a release yet.

Bug 69398 – Sort by letter for grantee does not work

Allright, so then just wait for 7.1.5 then?
