Default Partial licencing of Zimbra NE

Hi,

regarding licencing is it possible to:
- first, upgrade existing production ZCS with 100+ domains to trial version of Zimbra NE without any negative consequences to existing functionality
- then test for few weeks, all 1000+ users should have elevated functionality, and nothing will be lost
- then let Zimbra NE simply expire, and it will drop to free ZCS functionality. Right?
- then some day buy only 25 user licences, so 25 users will be using full Zimbra NE functions, while the rest 1000 users will keep exact the same functionality as before on ZCS

Is it so?
OR am I missing something?

You can not mix Network Edition and Open Source Edition.

Hmmm...
Is then there any option to have majority of users on Open Source licencing, and miority, like 25-50 on licenced edition (which supports Outlook Connector)?

Not on a single server there isn't. You'd have to set-up two separate servers, one for NE & one for OSS.

Thank you both for explanations. It's all clear to me now.
