Exclamation Zimbra moving accounts hardware

Hi there
found this reference : » Zimbra :: Blog for single server installation
is this still valid for zimbra 7.0.1_GA_3105 ?
actually the migration tool in domain:7071 (admin panel) for zimbra > zimbra is changing passwords for existing accounts ; don't want this
I want to change old hardware and move all accounts/settings to new hardware and keep existing passwords
secondly I'll have to change/upgrade license
are they console scripts available ?
can I rsync the /opt/zimbra folder between the servers ?
do I need to rsync db, ldap, mysql also ?

regards

It's valid for all versions of Zimbra except if you a) changing operating system and/or b:0 moving from 32bit to 64bit. You need to give more details about what exactly your move will entail. I'll also move this to the correct forum as it's not a question about Migrating to Zimbra.

Then you need to review, and follow exactly, the Moving from 32bit to 64bit article in the wiki (there's also details in the forums).

Ok, found Network Edition: Moving from 32-bit to 64-bit Server - Zimbra :: Wiki
this is a well done document and showing article applies to version ZCS 7,6,5

will read and apply this solution

Just a remark : moving , migrating ,etc all definitions todo the same and give many results, many irrellavant and other ZCS version and gives a different results.
why not splitting forums to questions/answers related to major ZCS versions ?

The forum you originally posted in has a title as follows:

Quote:
Looking to migrate to ZCS? Ask here. Got a great tip or script that helped you migrate? Post it here.
Your post is a question for the Administration forum on how to move your accounts/install to a new server. The usual definition of 'migrate' is to temporarily move to a new place - and yes, that makes the original Migration forum comment incorrect as well.
