Default do not use attachments intracompany

I would *force* users of a company to not send attachments to each others, but to send only links to files resident on company's fileserver.
I guess that mailboxes size could shrink to 1/100 of actual size, this way, even more

I dunno if and how this can be done with zimbra, but maybe someone has thought about it and can share some idea

Zimbra uses a single-instance mailstore, accomplished via hardlinks for the mail blobs.

If User A sends an intra-company email to 20 company mailboxes on the same Zimbra server with a 30MB PowerPoint file attached, the mailstore increases by just a little over 30MB--not 630MB.

Hope that helps,
Mark

you are right, but each mail has in average a very little ratio: text size respect to attachment size, and many mail have attachments when they can have links, only
