mail is being rejected!

Hey,

The issue I am having is that my mail server will not accept mail to user@hostname.domain when it will from user@hostname.. (as in it sends the mail back to the relay server) what do I need to change. I tried just to add another domain to I could add an alias, but hostname.domain is "not a valid value"...

Also, mail somtimes comes from my server from zimbra@hostname.hostname? What is this and how do I make it stop?

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're saying other than mail is getting rejected.

Could you replicate your results, i.e. send the mail the way it's rejecting, then tail the log and post it by running:
tail -100 /var/log/zimbra.log

so that we can see what's happening?
