[SOLVED] Issues after 6.0.x to 7.1 migration

I have 2 users with different issues.

User 1
MS Vista OS, IE 7 browser. none of the icons appear, in any themes, Another Vista/IE 7 user does not have this problem, ( I only have 2 users with that combination) no one else has had the problem.


User 2
XP SP3, Firefox 3.6 unread emails do not appear as bold, toggling from read to unread I can see a very minor change in the fonts. envlope is opened or closed as appropriate. Again no one else appears to have this issue.


Any suggestions where to look on either of these?

I just upgraded this morning, but general testing in Firefox 4, under Mandriva Linux, shows no issues.

I'll get a better idea come Monday.

I'd suggest though, to clean out the browser cache and maybe even try FF4 or Chrome on those clients.

Still working on this,

I have installed Chrome on the Vista user's PC and all looks good.


The Firefox, and XP system is still being looked at.

That XP problem you mention, if you even a small difference in the font, the issue is probably the bold version of the text is not a dark as you would like.

This might be because:

1. fonts have been reduced on firefox - try "ctrl" + "+" to "zoom in".
2. some kind of font issue on XP, try copying the "fonts" directory from an XP that's working fine with Zimbra.

XP issue fixed by "Magic" user reports that it started marking in Bold late Monday after I left, she was out the next day, so I find out today.

Guessing that user increased the font size, but does not realize that they did that.
