Default Migrate zimbra from Centos-4.8 32-bit to Centos-5.6 64-bit

Hi,

I am looking to migrate zimbra OSS 6.0.5 32 bit from Centos-4.8 32-bit to CentOS-5.6 x64 version. I use rsync of /opt/zimbra to sync to nfs in another server. Can this be synced to CentOS 64 bit version and upgrade to 7.1GA?

Did you search the forums for a solution or read the wiki article (also mentioned in the forums) on moving from a 32bit to 64bit operating system?

Default 64-bit migration

Hi,

I have looked into wiki for NE. It doesn't look pretty straight forward for production. But my worry is syncing the whole data back to a new machine on 64 bit and upgrade to 7.1

That is the guide to follow for moving to a 64bit server (obviously omit the NE steps).

Install The new X64

This is the export import script

you can modify to dump more options from ldap

Script for Export-Import Zimbra Mail Server Account & Password | Spirit of Change

then use imapsync to sync mail between to servers with admin-acount

in imapsync that means --userauth1 and 2 it will sync all the maill from all the users

just run it for every user or make bash.sh file with users list

Work like a charm

The migration in 7.1 does not work as it should
