Accessing email within a closed account

Hi guys,

I have to make a Zimbra account Closed, but still allow users to access the emails within that account via shared folders. Is that possible?

Or is there some way to make an account 'officially' closed yet still available for reference?

We're using Zimbra Version 5.0.11_GA_2695.UBUNTU6.FOSS

I apologise if this question's been answered elsewhere, I've searched high a low to no avail.
