Default Making Admin Console Available Externally

I know this is a bit of a strange (unsecure!) request but I'd like to make the admin console available from a known external IP address (my work address) but I can't find any instructions about how to do it.

I tried adding my external IP address to the allow list in the admin console but it said it wasn't a valid subnet.

Now, if you've seen any of my other posts on this forum you'll see I'm not very good when it comes to network stuff so I'm guessing I've not put the right subnet mask in (I don't understand all these /8, /16, /24 bits! ) so if someone can tell me what I need to do that would be great.

Thanks very much.
Bryn.

You don't need to add your IP address to anything in Zimbra, all you need do is forward port 7071 through your NAT router (I'm assuming you're using one) to the Zimbra server. The Admin UI is just a web page the same as the Ajax web interface.
