Default Splitting a Domain Between Sites

Hi,

We have two sites. All of our Zimbra infrastructure is at our main site at the moment running under one domain. We have some people at our remote site who are asking if it's possible to setup their own Zimbra installation at their site.

From what I understand of things, this would be possible. We could set them up with their own subdomain @ there.here.com, or we could setup a split domain and have both systems have the same @here.com domain.

- Will free busy work?
- Will intra-system sharing work? Could individuals share calendars, documents, folders, and such between sites just as they could if they were all on one system?
- Besides the issues of supporting two Zimbra installations instead of just one, what other problems am I not thinking of?

Thanks,
Matt
