Default trash folder and allowed by proxy

hello all,

i'm configuring my new zimbra and in default COS configuration there are options:
- trash folder
- domains allowed by proxy

I'm wondering what does it mean ? especially trash folder (even when it's unchecked i have trash bin folder in my users' accounts). I was looking for it in google but found nothing intersting

thank you in advance
